This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
